Weekend Short Trip

Hello guys, yesterday I went to Pati (a small town about 3 hours driving from Semarang) atau ( a small town in central java) with my relatives and collegues to make a visit of condolence.
On the way there we stop by in Kudus (a small town before Pati). We have lunch in a food market there, just as usual we have soto here, we call it Soto Kudus. I will show you the pictures but I am so sorry this picture about Soto Kudus I took it from the web since it was busy there and I totally forgot to take any pictures.

What is Soto? Soto is a traditional Indonesian soup which composed of broth, meat, and vegetables. Soto can be found in almost every part of Indonesia, but each part has its own unique taste and ingridients. For example for soto kudus, in the broth soup they have chicken/ beef and sprout. In other town we may find rice vermicelli in it.

We also bought duku in the market 😁 lucky I still have some to be captured right now.

Now, we continued our trip to Pati 😊 it was not so far from Kudus (around an hour). There is a big snack factory in Pati, named “Kacang Dua Kelinci” it produce snacks which based mostly by nuts. Anyway we didn’t visit the factory but the outlet, my aunty want to buy some snacks for the Chinese New Year 😁 which is coming in 4 more days.

There the snacks πŸ˜ƒ they make some special products that only can be found here (they do not distributing it in stores) so it always fun to stop by in the outlet. We also can enjoy some meals here, the restaurant just behind this outlet.

Very interesting Javanesse Statue πŸ‘πŸ˜‰ it is beside the outlet.

Now we are in the restaurant area, let me show you the traditional architecture of Kudus.

I love the environment 😍 it’s so relaxing, and the food are delicious πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜‰ here what we ordered.

This is Lontong Cap Go Meh

This is Nasi Bakar Bandeng

Well here what we got inside πŸ˜‹it’s so yummy we even take away some more of the nasi bakar.

This is Tahu Goreng Isi with spicy soy sauce and peanut sauce.

This is Ayam Goreng Batu πŸ‘πŸ˜‰ yummy.. fried chicken, anchovy, fermented soy bean in block, tofu and rice.

Well, now it was the main part of the trip which is to make a visit of condolence. The place is not so far from the outlet.

I just can’t say anything here about the visit, so I just share about the trip. We were there about 2 hours, and we got home around 9 p.m. We were so tired but very interesting trip though.

See you on the next blog πŸ‘πŸ˜
