Gili Trawangan Island

The Gili Islands are a group of 3 tiny islands, which are Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air in Indonesia, near the coast of northwest Lombok Island. I went there last year in small groups of friends to celebrate one of our friend’s birthday.

It was great, beautiful island and unforgetable environment. No polution there since it’s only a small island so there’s no motor vehicle, we only can find bicycle, horse cart, or some other a non motor vehicles. Let me show you the situation 😉 there.

It’s a ‘live’ small island 😁 you can find lots of activities all day. The restaurant mostly open around 10 a.m till midnight. It’s a groovy island, you can do water sport in the morning till evening, then relax with many range of spa or hang around dancing all night long.

I’ll share some night pictures and videos later 😉 see you mates.

  1. It sounds kind of like Mombasa here in Kenya. The days start at night…mostly because of the heat… Haha. You also spend quite a bit of time in, on or around the water don’t you? Haha… Not that it’s bad. I’d trade city life for cotton and sandals in a heartbeat given the chance. But anyway, I’m rambling, sorry… Haha. Great photos as always.

      1. Hehe… I noticed, and yes It really is great. But just to clarify…AWAY FROM THE CITY… Hahaha… from the crowds and cars and traffic jams. That’s where the exotic resides.
